PRESS RELEASE
A resident assistance center to assist those affected by Sunday's flooding will open at 9am on Wednesday, August 5th at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus, 1175 Conshohocken Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428. It will remain open until 8 PM. Residents affected by the storm may visit in person or call 610-239-5000, 5001, 5002, 5003 or 5004 during these hours.
Programs that may be available to assist Individuals and Businesses to Cover Uninsured Losses:
- Emergency Assistance Provided by Voluntary Organizations.
- Small Business Administration (SBA) Loans to Restore or Replace Uninsured or Underinsured Personal Property.
- SBA Business Disaster Loans:
- Loans for Damaged/Destroyed Business Facilities, Inventory, Machinery and Equipment
- Economic Injury Loans to Provide Small Businesses with Working Capital.
- Insurance Information, if possible, will expedite the process.
- Other Needs Assistance to Help with Serious Unmet Needs.
- Mental Health Crisis Counseling.
- Private Insurance is the Primary Assistance. Check with Your Agent for Specifics.
- Government Assistance Will Not Duplicate Insurance Payments.
- Renters Insurance Typically Covers Damage or Destruction of Personal Property.
Residents should bring the following information to the assistance center:
- Social Security Number
- Insurance Information
- Annual Household Gross Income
- Address of the Damaged Property
- Insurance Information
